Clive Owen	CLIVE OWEN Born: 1965 Coventry, England Height: 6'2" Comments: Finally breaking out of England, Owen certainly has the size and talent; despite those cool BMW films, I'm just not convinced he's handsome enough to be Bond.
Dougray Scott	DOUGRAY SCOTT Born: Nov 25, 1965 Glenrothes, Fife, Scotland Height: 6' Comments: His dark, brooding looks and acting talent serve him well as a villain, but he lacks the leading man stature and looks for 007. Despite recent publicity, he stands no chance to be Bond.
Dominic West	DOMINIC WEST Born: Sep 3, 1969 Sheffield, England Height: 6' Comments: Haven't actually seen this guy in action, but he does have an interesting face that seems to convey both Bond-like charm and danger.
James Purefoy	JAMES PUREFOY Born: June 3, 1964 Somerset, England Height: 6'1" Comments: Two years ago I didn't give him the time of day, but as he gets older - and after seeing some of the other candidates - frankly I wouldn't mind if Purefoy became the new Bond.
Iaon Gruffud	IOAN GRUFFUD Born: Oct 6, 1973 Cardiff, Wales Height: 5'11" Comments: Another hopeful who, although the right age, seems too short and too slight to be Bond. He's got a good face and, being Welsh, sounds like Dalton, and he performed well in Fantastic 4. But Sean Connery he ain't.
Daniel Craig	DANIEL CRAIG Born: Mar 2, 1968 Chester, England Height: 6' Comments: A recent addition into the 007 sweepstakes, but although the source is apparently "official," can they really be serious?
Ewan McGregor	EWAN MCGREGOR Born: March 31, 1971 Crieff, Scotland Height: 5'10" Comments: McGregor is quickly becoming a star in his own right, but he will never be James Bond because he's too short and too slight. (Hey, that rhymes!)
Gerard Butler	GERARD BUTLER Born: Nov 13, 1969 Glasgow, Scotland Height: 6'2" Comments: Butler is one of the strongest contenders at the moment, proving himself a capable action figure in the last Lara Croft movie. He's a big fellow and handsome; he exudes charisma and a flair for Connery-type irony.

Jude Law	JUDE LAW Born: Dec 29, 1972 London, England Height: 5'11" Comments: He has a great face and women swoon for him; but his slight frame will prevent him from ever playing Bond.
